February 20-July 10 2010 in The Beautiful National Bowling Stadium.

Last day to register:  April 1st, 2010
Roster and final payment deadline for teams with spots already reserved: October 1, 2009 *Doubles and singles times aren’t assigned until full payment is received

.USBC Open Championships:  February 20- July 4, 2010 (last day of team competition)

Location:  300 N. Center St., Reno, Nevada, 89501

Located in the heart of downtown Reno

Team event: 2:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Doubles & singles:
2:30 pm teams: 7:00 am - 9:20 am - 11:40 am
8:30 pm teams: 11:40 am - 5:30 pm - 11:30 pm
Doubles & singles times are scheduled on a first come basis and are not
guaranteed from year to year. Tournament Management has the right to
reschedule lane assignments up to the time of bowling for score. Reasons
for rescheduling of lanes may include, but are not limited to; mechanical
breakdowns, bowling alone, and technical problems.
Note: Times listed are “bowling for score” times. Squads will be brought
out to the lanes as lanes become available.
32. SUBSTITUTES
a. No one may bowl in this tournament except those originally
entered or such replacement authorized by the team captain or
his appointee.
b. A “Final Schedule Notice”, to be used for making changes, will be
mailed to the team captain 30 days prior to bowling. No other
written form will be accepted for making changes.
c. All changes in line-up order should be submitted in writing and
received at the USBC Open office on site at least 24 hours prior to
the first scheduled time of bowling.
33. “30 CLEAN” AWARD
A “30 Clean” plaque will be given to any bowler who records 30 frames
without an open in any event (team, doubles & singles).
A bowler may also choose to pay $10 to enter the “30 Clean Jackpot”
which will give a bowler three chances (team, doubles, singles) to share in
the jackpot prize fund at the end of the tournament.
34. OTHER RULES
a. Teams and/or individuals arriving late shall begin play and the
scores shall count beginning with the frame then being bowled.
Entrant will receive a zero for all frames missed.
b. In the event a team or D/S pair is bowling alone on a pair of
anes, each frame shall be completed on one lane before the next
frame is started on the adjoining lane. *This applies during
competition and practice.
c. All USBC Certified Tournament Rules will apply, unless
otherwise stated.
