Getting Around Reno and Sparks For Bowlers
Getting around Reno and Sparks Nevada is easy.
The airport to the National Bowling Stadium is a 10 minute drive. You can take a bus, taxi, shuttle or rent a car.
Taxis are EVERYWHERE.
If you are staying in the downtown area you can walk to everything.
Just outside the National Bowling Stadium is the cities central bus stop. You can catch a bus to anywhere in the city from here.
Many of the hotel casinos offer shuttle service to the bowling stadium.
Of course you can rent a car and park at the bowling stadium which is sometimes free and sometimes $8.00 flat fee.
The City of Sparks boarders Reno. Its a 5-20 minute drive from pretty much anywhere in Reno and you can easily get there by bus too.
In the event that you are looking into staying in or visiting other cities, understand this. Carson City is a 45 minute drive. North Lake Tahoe ( Incline Village, Tahoe City, Kings Beach etc) is 45-60 minutes away over windy mountain roads. South Lake Tahoe aka Stateline Nevada is a 90 minute drive.
